About

My name is Moses Waswa, I’m a Ugandan native, born of the Buganda tribe. I found my passion for photography while working for an NGO called Watoto.

My driving force as a documentary photographer is exploring culture, traditions and the human condition. Real people and real life stories of those affected by this world’s atrocities and telling them in a single image.

I am the husband to a woman who shares my passion for humanitarian work and expresses that through video.

I am also a PROUD father of two amazing children.

Our home base is Victoria, Canada, but our work keeps our heart and often feet in Africa.

I have worked for various NGOS such as The World Food Program, Watoto, Oxfam, and USAID.

It’s the people that drive us, it’s their stories that inspire us……and hopefully you too.
